Welcome to the Reading and Wokingham Country Show for our 173rd year!

This year's show promises to be a fun packed day for all the family - including all our traditional activities along with a host of other attractions, and events to entertain people of all ages and interests.

The ever popular heavy horse events, among many others, will be joined this year by a special , show jumping competition, poultry and pets marquee, a dog show and ferret and terrier racing, while keen gardeners will want to make a bee line for the horticulture marquee and craft tent.

There will be a host of other attractions including a funfair, bouncy castles, parade of classic cars and vintage machinery and go-karts. And of course there will be the usual well stocked beer tent and plenty of other refreshments on offer around the show.

Supported by many local businesses, including vets, agricultural suppliers, solicitors and other small firms and individuals, all surplus monies raised by the show will be used to benefit local charities.

The Wokingham and Reading Agricultural Association’s annual ploughing match, will continue to take place on Sunday 7th September.
